A mother of two from Clarksburg won more than $50,000 on Wheel of Fortune earlier this week.

Maybe you missed it because, it Memorial Day and you were either outside grilling or traveling back from your weekend getaway, but Sherrie Mason of Clarksburg was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune on Monday, May 27 and she won big.

Sherrie did win big, taking home $50,050 in cash and prizes, including a trip to Panama.

She is a facility security officer at a non-profit that supports the military through medical research. Mason is married with two children. In her spare time, she enjoys going to theme parks, the beach, and traveling. She also loves watching “Wheel.” Mason has been tuning in to America’s Game since she started watching with her grandparents as a child. She began her journey to become a contestant when she attended a Wheelmobile event in Dulles, Va.

She told show’s producers before the show that if she won, she was planning to go to Disneyland. Sherrie appeared during “America’s Game” week on Wheel of Fortune, which airs in the Germantown area weeknights on WJLA (ABC 7) at 7:00 pm.

Mason is the second Clarksburg mom to big on Wheel of Fortune in five months, Natalie Eades, of Clarksburg, won cash and prizes valued at $54,750 and a trip to London on a Wheel of Fortune show which aired on December 18, 2018.
