Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from April 21 through May 20.
Police report a man pulled a gun on two adult victims as they walked home from the 7-Eleven on Crystal Rock Drive at about 11:30 pm on Saturday, April 27. Police said the men were walking in the 19500 block of Crystal Rock Drive when they were approached from behind by a black male who displayed a handgun and demanded their money and cell phones.
MCPD also reported an aggravated assault resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Darnell Palmer of the 18600 block of Mustard Seed Court in Germantown. According to police, Palmer attacked a man with a stick during an altercation in the area of Mateny Road and Great Seneca Highway on Wednesday, May 8 at about 4:06 pm. According to police, the Palmer was riding a bicycle and nearly struck another man and the two began to shout at each other. The victim picked up a stick to protect himself. As the incident seemed to be winding down the victim dropped the stick when it appeared that Palmer was leaving, but at this point the suspect picked up the stick and assaulted the victim with the stick. A passerby assisted the victim until police arrived to arrest Palmer.
When Palmer was arrested, police determined that he had a warrant out for his arrest in connection with a robbery and assault which occurred on March 29, as well as an Armed Robbery which occurred on April 4, as well as the assault charges stemming from the stick incident. Palmer has been held in Montgomery County Detention Center without bail.
Police also reported Strong-Arm Robbery in the 12900 block of Prairie Knoll Court in Germantown when about six suspects attacked two adult male victims. According to police, one unknown suspect approached the men at about 4:30 pm on Thursday May 9 and asked to buy a Gucci bracelet worn by one of the victims. The suspect snatched the bracelet from the man and fled. The victims pursued him and were jumped by what police say was about six additional suspects who attacked the two men and stole their wallets and an additional bracelet.
In another strong-arm robbery three suspects stole money and earbuds from an adult male as he was walking in the 12800 block of Locbury Circle in Germantown on Saturday evening May 4. Police say three black males approached the victim at about 6:00 pm.
On Sunday, May 5, MCPD were called to the BP gas station at 19911 Aircraft Drive in Germantown for an intoxicated man attempted to steal a Zion TC while it was at one of the pumps. Apparently, he did not get too far, because police arrested Kevin Adams, 26, of the 18600 block of Martins Landing Drive in Germantown and charged him with Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Second-Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication.
Montgomery County Police reported three vehicle thefts between April 22 and May 9. The first vehicle theft occurred in the 11400 block of Scottsbury Terrace between approximately 9:30 am on April 22 and 7:30 am on April 23. Police report that a Chevy Cruz was stolen from that location. Unknown entry; a vehicle key was reported to have been left inside the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered on Wednesday, May 1.
Police also report that a Chrysler 300 was stolen from the 13100 block of Wonderland Way between approximately 8:40 pm on April 25 and 12:30 am on April 26. No force; the vehicle was reported to have been left unlocked with the key left inside the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered on April 26.
MCPD also reported that a motorcycle, a Yamaha RX, was stolen from the unit block of Observation Court between approximately 11:50 pm on May 8 and 8:00 am on May 9.
A Poolesville resident and an unidentified teenager were arrested and charged with breaking into two Poolesville restaurants on April 28. Police arrested Emily Lewis, 18, of Poolesville and 17-year-old juvenile male of an unconfirmed address in connection with commercial burglaries which occurred in the early morning hours at the Watershed Café at 19639 Fisher Avenue and the Mexican Grill at 19710 Fisher Avenue.
Police also reported a burglary occurred at Clopper Mill Elementary School located at 18501 Cinnamon Drive at approximately 11:06 pm on Saturday, May 4. Forced entry; nothing was taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 28300 block of Clarksburg Road in Clarksburg between approximately 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm on April 22. No signs of forced entry; property was taken. A witness described the suspect as a White male.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 20000 block of Frederick Road between approximately 9:30 pm on April 25 and 7:00 am on April 26.

A theft from vehicle occurred in the 11600 block of Drumcastle Terrace in Germantown between approximately 7:30 pm on April 22 and 8:45 am on April 23. No force; property was taken.
Three thefts from vehicles occurred between April 22 and April 24. Two thefts occurred in the 12100 block of Skylark Road and one theft occurred in the 22900 block of Meadow Mist Road in Clarksburg. No force; money and property were taken.
Four thefts from vehicles occurred between April 26 and April 30. Affected streets included Virginia Pine Terrace, Tall Pines Drive, and Stoney Point Court in Germantown. No force; money and property were taken.
A theft from vehicle occurred in the 28300 block of Kemptown Road in Damascus between approximately 12:20 pm and 1:05 pm on April 29. No force; property was taken.
A theft from vehicle occurred in the 12500 block of Eagle View Way in Germantown between approximately 8:00 pm on May 01 and 7:30 am on May 2. No force; property was taken.
A theft from vehicle occurred in the 19500 block of White Ground Road in Boyds between approximately 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on May 4. Force; money and property were taken.
Two thefts from vehicles occurred between May 5 and May 7. One theft occurred in the 13800 block of Bronco Place and one theft occurred in the 18500 block of Eagles Roost Drive in Germantown. No force; property was taken.
A theft from vehicle occurred in the 17600 block of Burdette Lane in Germantown between approximately 6:30 pm on May 8 and 9:15 am on May 9. No force; property was taken.
Two thefts from vehicles occurred between May 6 and May 9. One theft occurred in the 20400 block of Cabana Drive and 11400 block of Fruitwood Way in Germantown. Force was reported in one event; money and property were taken.
