Teen Arrested After Stabbing in Germantown


Montgomery County Police are confirming that one suspect has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that took place Saturday evening in Germantown.

The incident took place in the area of Scenery Place and Frederick Road at about 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 4. According to police, one teenager was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries suffered from a knife wound during an assault after a despute.

Capt. Thomas Jordan of the Montgomery County Police Department confirmed that a teen suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing incident. MCPD would not release any more information Saturday.a

MCPD officers, including a K9 unit were working the area near the former TD Bank location at the corner of Scenery Place and Frederick Road. A Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service ambulance and MCPD patrol cars were at the Seneca Ridge Rental Townhouse community located across the street form the Plum Gar Recreation Center.
