Clarksburg Man Wins Big on Maryland Lottery Racetrax Game

Earlier this month a Clarksburg resident won $27,815.50 with Superfecta Wheel wager

The man who was identified by Maryland Lotter as “Mohamed Hussein” is an avid Maryland Lottery Racetrax player and keeps seeing his horses cross the finish line as big winners. The lucky Clarksburg man just added a $27,815.50 score to his prize total after placing a Superfecta Wheel wager.

With this type of bet, players select at least five horses to finish in first, second, third and fourth place in exact order. The 63-year-old bet on the 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 horses with combinations of 9 or 12 coming in first, 9 or 12 coming in second, 1 or 3 coming in third and 1 or 6 coming in fourth. His five-draw bet certainly paid off. “Mohamed Hussein” saw the 12, 9, 3 and 6 horses cross the finish line to give him the big win. The Superfecta Wheel bet is his secret to winning big.

“I won over $32,000 last year,” said the man. The Montgomery County resident is a consultant by profession and plans to use his prize to pay off all of his debts.

The home of his big win, Milestone Shell in Germantown, will also share in the Racetrax win. The Montgomery County retailer located at 21000 Fredrick Road earned a $278.15 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more.
