Missing Damascus Teen Found Safe

UPDATE: On Monday morning, April 29, Montgomery County Police reported that Kayla Morgan Metz has been located safe and unharmed.

 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Damascus teenager.

   Kayla Morgan Metz, age 15, of Shelldrake Court, has been reported as missing by her family.  Metz is described as a white female who is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.  She has brown eyes and long black hair.  Metz recently moved from Germantown to the Damascus area, and detectives believe that she may be frequenting the Germantown area to include areas around Northwest High School at 13501 Richter Farm Road in Germantown.

   Police and family are concerned for Metz’s welfare.

   Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Kayla Morgan Metz is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
