Single-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Person Trapped

Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service units had to rescue a patient who had become trapped in twisted and mangled vehicle after it slammed into a tree on Forest Brook Road in Germantown on Tuesday, April 16.
MCFRS and MCPD units were called to the area of Forest Brook Road and Ferry Landing Circle for the report of a single-vehicle collision at about 1:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon. First responders located a trapped patient with serious injuries a heavily damaged vehicle that had run into a tree.

MCFRS extricated the severely pinned individual and transported the patient suffering Priority 1 trauma injuries to a local trauma hospital.
Police had Forest Brook Road closed to traffic for four hours as investigators cleaned up the scene and investigated the cause of the violent crash on a residential street.
