Missing Germantown Teen Located Safe and Unharmed

UPDATE: On Monday morning, April 29, Montgomery County Police reported that Asia Monet Prather has been located safe and unharmed.

 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown woman.

   Asia Monet Prather, age 18, was last seen by family at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 when she left her Tilford Court home as a passenger in a white, Toyota sedan with Maryland temporary tags. Family has been unable to contact her since that time.

  Prather is described as an African-American female, 5’ 2” tall, and weighing 134 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.  Prather was last seen wearing a black jacket over a multi-color shirt and black leggings.

   Prather’s family reports that she functions at a middle-school level, and police and family members are concerned for her welfare.

   Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Asia Monet Prather is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
