Police Report Missing Germantown Girl Has Been Located

Update: March 22, 2019 – MCPD reports that Tylasia Claudia Russell has been located safe and unharmed.

 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Germantown woman.

   Tylasia Claudia Russell, age 19, was last seen by family at approximately 12:56 this afternoon, Thursday, March 21, when she left on foot from her home on Aberstraw Way in the Brandermill neighborhood shortly before 1:00 pm. Russell is described as an African American female, 4-feet, 11-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Russell was last seen wearing a red jacket over a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes, and carrying a gray purse. She is known to frequent the Milestone shopping center in Germantown.

   Police and family are concerned for Russell’s welfare.

   Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tylasia Claudia Russell is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
