Monkey Joe’s Bounces Out of Germantown

March 6, 2019

Children and — more importantly — their parents are sad this week to learn that the Germantown Monkey Joe’s location in the Germantown Commons Shopping Center on Middlebrook Road has closed permanently.

Notice of the closure was posted on the Monkey Joe’s- Germantown Facebook page on Monday, March 4. It read, “We are sorry to inform you that Monkey Joe's Germantown is closed, effective immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience to our loyal fans and those with plans to visit in the near future.”

Monkey Joe’s, the 12,000 square-feet environment filled with inflatables and indoor play activities, opened at 13032 Middlebrook Road in Germantown on May 6, 2016 in the spot once occupied by Hard Times Restaurant.

The notice of the location’s closing said that any parties and events which had already been booked and paid for will be offered a full refund. “We have enjoyed being part of the community and helping you and your families play, have fun and celebrate birthdays. Unfortunately, we are unable to continue operating,” read the statement on Facebook.
