Missing Germantown Woman Located, She is Safe


UPDATE: Montgomery County Police reported on Friday night that Sheila Mulcahy has been located safe and sound.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.

Sheila Mulcahy, 52, of the 18800 block of Sparkling Water Drive in Germantown, was last seen in the afternoon of Wednesday, Feb. 27. Family members last heard from Mulcahy around 7:00 am, on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Mulcahy is described as a white female, 5-feet, 6-inches in height, and weighing approximately 118 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Mulcahy was last seen wearing workout clothing, but no further clothing description is available.

Mulcahy drives a 2017 Subaru Outback, charcoal gray in color, bearing a Maryland license plate of 4CX4479.

Police and family are concerned for Mulcahy’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sheila Mulcahy is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
