Police Missing Germantown Teen Found Safe



UPDATE: MCPD reported at 12:24 pm on Feb. 1 that Courtney Madison Lynch had been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Germantown woman.

Courtney Madison Lynch, 18, was last seen by family on January 25 when she left her Waters Road in Germantown home on foot.

Lynch is described as an African American female, 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has long black hair and brown eyes. Lynch was last seen wearing a burnt orange hooded sweatshirt and grey camouflage Crocs.

Police and family are concerned for Lynch’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Courtney Madison Lynch is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
