Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Germantown and Montgomery County



The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning for Germantown and the entire Washington D.C. region, including Montgomery County from 10:00 pm tonight Sunday, January 20 until 11:00 am on Monday, January 21.

The National Weather Service said, “Very cold wind chills are expected. Wind chills between 5 and 15 below zero are expected” Sunday night into Monday morning. “A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves, said the NWS.
