Four Damascus High School Football Players Arrested and Charged, as Adults, with Rape
Four 15-year-old members of the Damascus High School football team have been arrested and charged, as adults with rape for their participation in an alleged hazing and sexual assault incident in the locker room at Damascus High School last month.
The Montgomery County Police Department- Special Victims Investigations Division, at the direction of the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, have charged four of the defendants previously charged as juveniles in the October 31, 2018, Damascus High School sexual assaults as adults, said a release from the police department on Wednesday afternoon.
It is reported that all involved members, both the suspects and the victims are members of the football team.
The fifth juvenile remains charged as a juvenile.
Police said the four juveniles were arrested Wednesday morning, Nov. 21 on the strength of Montgomery County criminal warrants and transported to the Central Processing Unit.
