County to Host Forum on Proposed Changes to Ride One Route 75

MCDOT’s Transit Services invites the public to a forum on November 1 to provide input on proposed changes to Ride On Route 75, which include extending service to the Germantown MARC Station and additional service within the Clarksburg community.

The forum will be held at the UpCounty Regional Services Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road, Conference Room A, in Germantown; it will begin at 6:30 pm. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on November 13.

The proposed changes would expand the service to include the Germantown MARC Train Station and Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown, and Skylark Road in Clarksburg.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who would like to speak at the public forum should provide their name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and organization to the Division of Transit Services (see contact information below) by October 29. Speakers should bring two printed copies of their testimony for the record.

Sign language interpreter services will be provided only upon request with notice as far in advance as possible, but not less than three business days prior to the date of the forum. Additionally, a large print format is available, upon request. Please call (240) 777-5800 to make such requests.

Comments on the proposed service changes also may be sent to the Division of Transit Services by 5:00 pm on November 13. Such comments may be sent in any of several ways, i.e., by email: mcdot.rideonpublicforums@montgomerycountymd.gov; phone: (240) 777-5800; fax: (240) 777-5801; or mail to the Division of Transit Services, Ride On Public Forum, 101 Monroe Street, 5th Floor, Rockville, Maryland 20850.
