Germantown Volunteer Fire Department to Host Open House

September 27, 2018

Have you ever wanted to check out a fire truck, ambulance, or police cruiser? Do you know someone who aspires to be a firefighter, paramedic, EMT, or police officer?  Don’t miss the Germantown Public Safety Open House this Saturday in Germantown.

The Germantown Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Public Safety Open House this Saturday, Sept. 29 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Tour the vehicles, meet your local first responders and fire celebrity, “Sparky,” play games, jump in the moon bounce, watch a rescue demonstration, and get some fire and safety tips. The event will include tours of the fire department vehicles, police motorcycles, a moon bounce, Park Police horses, and Child ID Kits. Hot dogs, popcorn and Sno Cones will be available.

The event will take place at Fire Station 29 at 20001 Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown. For more information go to www.gvfd29.org.
