Police Investigate Strong Armed Robbery

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from May 28 through June 12. 

   Police are investigating a strong armed robbery which occurred in the area of Clopper Road and Village Fountain Drive at approximately 7:01 pm on Wednesday, May 30. Police report that three male suspects assaulted an adult male victim and took his cash.

   MCPD are reported one stolen vehicle and one attempted stolen vehicle in two days. Police say an attempted vehicle theft occurred in the 13100 block of Country Ridge Drive between approximately 9:30 pm on Thursday, June 6 and approximately 6:30 am on Friday, June 7.

  Police report that a vehicle theft and attempted theft from vehicle occurred at the same residence in the unit block of Neerwinder Court between approximately 11:40 pm on Friday, June 7 and approximately 5:36 am on Saturday, June 8. No force; a spare key was reported to have been left inside the vehicle.

  MCPD reported residential burglary occurred in the 5300 block of Griffith Road between approximately 3:23 pm on May 23 and approximately 3:23 pm on Tuesday, June 5. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.

  Police reported a number of thefts from vehicles during the reporting period.

   Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between approximately 6:00 pm on Monday, May 28 and approximately 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 29. Affected streets included Deerwater Drive, Neerwinder Street, Ambassador Terrace, Sunbright Lane, Shore Harbour Drive, and Coral Grove Place. No force; cash and property were taken.

   Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Wednesday, May 30 and Monday, June 4. Affected streets included Cherry Bend Terrace, Climbing Ivy Drive, Red Robin Terrace, Warrior Brook Terrace, and Accent Way. No force; cash and property were taken.

   Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Tuesday, June 5 and Saturday, June 9. Affected streets included Wild Cherry Lane, Wanegarden Court, Country Ridge Drive, Trimfield Lane, Waters Point Lane, Waters Row Terrace, Summersong Lane, Shore Harbour Drive, Twilight Court, Wisteria Drive, Thorn Grove Place, and Neerwinder Court. No force; cash and property were taken.

   Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Sunday, June 3 and Monday, June 11. Affected streets included Bayberry Drive, Metz Drive, Autumn Mist Circle, Red Robin Terrace, Swiss Court, Accent Way, Kingshill Road, Perrone Drive, Black Kettle Drive, Dark Star Way, Black Gold Way, and Gate Dancer Lane. No force; cash and property were taken.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on June 24.
