Germantown Man with Down Syndrome Located Safe

Update: June 15, 2018 – MCPD reports that Joseph Moubarek has been located safe and unharmed.

 

Joseph Moubarek (who may also go by the first name of Zack or Edmund), 21, was last seen at approximately 10:30 am, on Thursday, June 14 when he left his home on Winding Creek Way in Germantown on foot.

   Moubarek is described as a white male who is approximately five-feet, two-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Moubarek was last seen wearing brown pants, black shoes, and carrying a dark green backpack.  He is familiar with public transportation.

   Police and family are concerned for Moubarek’s physical and emotional welfare.

   Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joseph Moubarek to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
