Missing QO Teen Located, He is Safe and Unharmed

Update: May 22, 2018 – Daniel Glay has been located safe and unharmed.

Update: May 21, 2018 – Detectives believe that Glay may have last been seen at the T-Mobile store located 8668 Colesville Road in Silver Spring on Wednesday, May 16.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown juvenile.

Daniel Glay, age 16, of the 18900 block of Highstream Drive in Germantown, was last seen on foot as he left Quince Orchard High School at 15800 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, May 15 at the time of dismissal ­– approximately 2:00 pm. He did not return home from school and has not contacted his family regarding his whereabouts.

Glay is described as an African American male, six-feet, one-inch tall, and weighing 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Glay was last seen wearing a red shirt, tan pants, and red shoes. Police and family are concerned for Daniel Glay’s welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Glay is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
