Car Crashes into Clarksburg Dentist’s Office

April 24, 2018

A vehicle crashed into a dentist office in Clarksburg on Tuesday afternoon and left quite a cavity in the front of the building.

According to Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service senior spokesman Pete Piringer, a car smashed into the building in the 23200 block of Brewers Tavern Way in Clarksburg shortly after 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 24.

Piringer said the driver was picking a family member at the dentist office and accidentally struck the building. No one was injured, but a building inspector was called to the scene, and it seems the dentist office will be closed for a few days.

This is the sixth vehicle to smash into a building in Montgomery County in the last 30 days, the third in the Germantown/ Clarksburg area. On April 15, an SVU crashed into the Sunoco gas station on Cherry Hill Rd. in Silver Spring. There were no injuries. On April 4, a car drove into Express Pharmacy on Rt. 355/South Frederick Road in Gaithersburg. On March 31, a vehicle drove through the Richey & Co. shoe store in the 1600 block of Rockville Pike.

On March 28, a car somehow ended up driving into and through the exterior wall of the Taste of New Orleans restaurant at 14125 Seneca Road in Darnestown. And this all started back on March, 26, Germantown Pulse reported that an Orkin service vehicle is crashing into the Chipotle restaurant at the corner of Century Boulevard and Crystal Rock Drive.
