UPDATE: Missing Germantown Teen Found Safe

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police have reported that missing Germantown teenager Joseph Aldair Tello has been located safe and unharmed. MCPD posted the update on Wed., May 9.

 

The Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Germantown teenager who police say has not returned home since the middle of February.

   Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigation Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Joseph Aldair Tello, age 16, of the 11500 block of Seneca Forest Circle in Germantown.

According to police, Tello has been reported as missing by his family. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. 

   Police say that Tello has been communicating with family and friends via cellular phone texts but will not disclose his whereabouts.

   Tello may be staying with friends or a girlfriend, who do not know that his family is looking for him. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Joseph Aldair Tello is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24hrs). Callers may remain anonymous
