Germantown Now Under Winter Weather Advisory

March 7, 2018

The National Weather Service has extended the area of the Winter Weather Advisory to include the Germantown area and all over Montgomery County.

Shortly before 11:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6 the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area until 10:00 am on

Wednesday, March 7. “Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, with localized amounts up to 4 inches, are expected,” said the National Weather Service.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. “Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times,” said the National Weather Service.
