Toyota Collides with Empty School Bus

Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue units responded to a collision between a Montgomery County Public School bus and a vehicle Wednesday morning, which left the car severely damaged.

Shortly after 10:00 am on Wednesday, Feb. 28, MCFRS responded to a collision between an empty MCPS school bus and a blue Toyota near the intersection of Wisteria Drive and White Sands Road in Germantown.

According to MCFRS senior spokesman Pete Piringer, both vehicles were occupied only by their respective drivers. He reported no injuries and said both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and the Toyota experienced multiple airbag deployments as a result of the crash.
