Police Respond to Stabbing Incident Tuesday Night

Montgomery County Police from the 5th District responded to a stabbing incident which occurred in Germantown Town Center on Tuesday evening, February 27.

   MCPD spokesman Officer Rick Goodale said Officers were called to the Germantown Emergency Center shortly after 6:00 pm after a stabbing victim walked into the emergency room with a non-life threatening stab wound to his lower back

   Investigators determined that the victim had been involved in an assault in the vicinity of the Taco Bell restaurant on Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown. Goodale said the victim walked two blocks to the Germantown Emergency Center after the incident.

   Police do not believe this was a random act, and that the victim and the assailant are known to each other.
