Police Have One Person In Custody In Connection to Threat at Northwest
Montgomery County Police have confirmed that one person is in custody in connection to the social media threats made toward Northwest High School overnight.
5th District Commander Capt. Mark Plazinski confirmed to Germantown Pulse, “We have a 15-year-old in custody and the investigation continues.” He could not elaborate any further.
At 10:49 am on Friday, Northwest Principal Jimmy D’Andrea sent a Tweet out to the community stating that a person was in custody. “The police continue to believe that there is not a credible threat to Northwest HS,” he said in the Tweet.
