Dead Man Found in Car at Kingsview Village Shopping Center

February 9, 2018

The body of an unidentified adult male was found inside of a car in a Germantown shopping center on Wednesday evening, according to Montgomery County Police.

Police responded to the Kingsview Village Shopping Center at about 6:00 pm on February 7 and found an adult male deceased behind the wheel of a car in the parking lot. Police said the man did not have any visible trauma, and their investigation did not turn up anything suspicious about his death, according to Officer Rick Goodale, a spokesman for the MCPD.

While the man was found slumped behind the wheel the vehicle was not running when police found the body, according to Goodale.

Germantown Pulse has learned that man was 61-years-old and had a Germantown address, but police officials could not verify this information.

While the vehicle was seen in the area recently, police do not believe that the deceased was an employee of any of the retail stores in the shopping center.

The medical examiner in Baltimore is doing an autopsy to determine the cause and nature of the death, but police do not believe foul play is a factor at this time.
