UPDATE: Missing Clarksburg Man Found Safe

UPDATE: At 2:35 pm on Friday, Jan. 19, Montgomery County Police reported that Karl Eric Barney, a missing man from Clarksburg had been found safe and unharmed. 

 

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Clarksburg man.

   Karl Eric Barney, age 43, was last seen this morning at approximately 12:40 am when he left his Horseshoe Bend Circle in a white, 2013 Volkswagen Jetta with Maryland tags: 1BL0835.

   Karl Eric Barney is described as a white male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 185 pounds.  He has blonde hair and green eyes.  Mr. Barney was last seen wearing a black jacket over a black t-shirt.

   Police and family members are concerned for Karl Barney’s physical and emotional welfare.

   Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Karl Eric Barney or his vehicle to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
