Police See Public’s Help to Locate Missing Germantown Man



Update: At 5:20 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 9 Montgomery County Police reported that Jerry Nisah Poku, a Germantown man who has been missing since Dec. 6, 2017 has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Germantown area man.

Jerry Nisah Poku, age 24, who resides in the 20000 block of Brook Run Place in Germantown was last seen when he was driven to the Shady Grove metro by a family member on December 6. He was headed to the Rockville area. Family members reported him missing to the Police Department on January 2.

Poku is described as an African American male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing approximately 208 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Poku was last seen wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Family and police are concerned for Poku’s emotional and physical welfare.
