Police Seek Suspects Connected to Liquor and Wine Store Burglary

Germantown-5th District MCPD Detectives are looking for the public’s help in identifying three brazen burglars who smashed the front door of a liquor and wine store at about 1:00 am on Thursday night.

Montgomery County Police released a video showing the door being smashed with a rock and three suspects crawling under the push-bar and entering the Montgomery County Liquor and Wine Store located at 18323 Leaman Farm Road in Germantown. Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Thursday, Dec. 15 at approximately 12:58 am, 5th District patrol officers responded to an alarm call at the store. When officers arrived, they saw that the glass of the front door was broken. A review of the business’ surveillance video revealed that one suspect threw a rock through the front door. Then, two additional suspects entered the store and stole alcohol before fleeing. All three suspects concealed their identity by wearing masks and gloves.

Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 5th District Investigative Section at 240-773-6200. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
