Police Seek Missing Darnestown Man

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Darnestown man.

   John William Gentry, age 58, resides in a group home located in the 14100 block of Darnestown Road and was last seen by caretakers at approximately 7:30 am on Wednesday, November 29.

   Gentry is described as an African American male, who is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Gentry is without his medication and police and caretakers are concerned for his physical and emotional welfare.

   Anyone with information regarding John William Gentry’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
