Germantown Pulse Launches the Pulse BIZ NEXUS, an Extensive Hyper-Local Business Directory

October 30, 2017

The lifeblood of any community is its people and its business community. Supporting local businesses in the Germantown area benefits all of us, and that is why the Germantown Pulse is happy to announce the launch of the new BIZ NEXUS Business Directory. Think of it as the local business “go-to” for everything in the Germantown/Clarksburg area, designed specifically for business owners and consumers.

Germantown Pulse is proud to announce a new partnership with Bizyhood to provide a comprehensive online business directory for Germantown/Clarksburg area.

The BIZ NEXUS isn’t just a static listing on the web, this is a live connection between the customer and a local business.

As a business owner, you get your very own page in our directory. This page is coded to enhance your local search engine optimization (SEO), and you can customize your page as well. The format encourages user interaction and it’s completely searchable.

For our readers, this means that you’ll have a way to search for local businesses and find information about their hours of operation, phone numbers and addresses, and links to their social media. You’ll also be able to read helpful feedback from their customers – and you’ll be able to add your own feedback.

The BIZ NEXUS replaces our old and often outdated Restaurant Guide. The new Restaurants & Eateries Guide can be found in the BIZ NEXUS submenu, just let your mouse hover, and the link will come up. The best part is that it will allow customers viewing the listing to call the restaurants right from their mobile device.

Using the BIZ NEXUS, the Pulse is able to list more area restaurants and eateries, and allow those establishments to update their listings easily.

The Germantown Pulse BIZ NEXUS Business Directory is mobile friendly, as more people are looking for businesses and services from their mobile phones. Believe it or not, over half of all Internet searches are now done from mobile phones.

And the best news is that we’re offering local businesses the opportunity to claim their basic listing for free, to take advantage of connecting with a mobile-friendly website that’s already known as a respected local authority for news, sports, events, and information in the UpCounty area.

If you know someone who owns local business, from ABJ Upholstery to Zook’s Cheese Shop please, tell them to claim their business and sign up with the Pulse BIZ NEXUS. Signing up for our BIZ NEXUS directory takes less than one minute, and we offer three tiers of membership:

•   Text introduction of your business
