Germantown Resident Named Senior Class Award Candidate with UMD Soccer Team



University of Maryland senior midfielder Jake Rozhansky was selected as a candidate for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award in men’s soccer. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.

Rozhansky has been outstanding since arriving at Maryland last season. The Germantown, Md., native started all 21 games for the Terps and notched four goals and eight assists. So far this season, Rozhansky has started all seven games and tallied five assists, and got his first goal on Monday night in a 3-2 win over the University of Connecticut.
