Clarksburg Moving Company Collecting Donations for Hurricane Harvey Relief Drive



Hurricane Harvey, the first major storm of its kind to make landfall in the U.S. in over a decade, has caused mass devastation along the southern border of the nation. While the full scope of the damage has yet to be determined, outpourings of concern and offerings of assistance have come in from every corner of the nation.

In Clarksburg, Moyer & Sons Moving and Storage are adding their company to the list of individuals and corporations who are responded to the needs of the thousands of people impacted by the flooding and damage in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.


Moyer & Sons is hosting an Item Collection Drive at its location beginning today and ending Thursday, Sept. 21. The moving company will be collecting items and filling up a tractor trailer to be delivered to the Houston area. All donations will be distributed to local food banks in the affected areas from Hurricane Harvey.

Items being collected include bottled water, non-perishable food items, toiletries and baby products, as well as, cleaning supplies.

Items will be collected at Moyer & Sons Moving & Storage located at 13050 Shawnee Lane in Clarksburg. Collection hours are Monday through Fridays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm through Thursday, Sept. 21.
