Clarksburg Family Displaced After Early Morning Fire

A Clarksburg family has been displaced after an early morning fire did significant damage to their home.

   Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service units were called the house at 23100 Timber Creek Lane in Clarksburg at about 3:30 am on Monday, July 17. First arriving fire officials called for the Rapid Intervention Dispatch to assist in firefighting efforts.

   According fire officials, the fire was accidental in nature and began on the rear deck of the single-family house and extended to the attic and did some damage to interior walls of the residence.

   A family of five was displaced. No injuries were reported.
