Fellowship Christian School Hires New Director

July 13, 2017

The Fellowship Christian School, a non-public school in Germantown, has hired Rebecca Prater as their new director.

Prater joins Fellowship Christian School in her 20th year of education with experience in North Carolina and most recently, an 11-year international stint in South Korea. While this is her first position as head of school, she is confident that she will continue the good work that others before her have begun.

“I am thrilled to be back in Maryland and in a place where I can touch the lives of so many children and parents,” said Prather. “I love teaching, and am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Fellowship Christian School and this community.”

Prater looks forward to beginning school in September and is already hard at work in her new office, welcoming students to summer care and day camp, supervising construction on a new classroom addition, as well as enrolling new students for the upcoming school year.

Fellowship Christian School is a non-public school which operates as a ministry of New Covenant Fellowship Church on Waring Station Road.  Enrollment is open for new students, age 2-and-a-half through fourth grade.
