Missing Germantown Man Last Seen Headed to Montgomery Village

UPDATE: At 1:06 pm on Sunday June, 11, 2017 the Montgomery County Police report that Lee Grant Washington, Jr. had been located safe and unharmed, earlier that morning. 

 

Montgomery County Detectives are looking for a Germantown man who left his home to run an errand in Montgomery Village on Thursday afternoon and has not returned.

   Detectives with the Montgomery County Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Lee Grant Washington, Jr., of Germantown.

   Washington, Jr., 48 years old, was last seen by family on Thursday, June 8 at 4:40 pm, when he left his Chalet Drive address in Germantown to complete an errand in Montgomery Village.

   Lee Grant Washington, Jr., is described as an African American male who is 5′ 10″ tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  At the time he left his Chalet Drive apartment, he was wearing a blue shirt and tan pants.  He is believed to be operating a red, 2008 Mitsubishi Galant with Maryland tags, AL2168.

   Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lee Grant Washington, Jr., or the Mitsubishi Galant to call the Montgomery County Police Department non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
