Two Germantown Teens Found Shot to Death in Montgomery Village Double Homicide
Two Germantown teenagers were shot and killed in a vehicle on Gallery Court in Montgomery Village last night, June 5.
Police have identified the two male victims as Shadi Adi Najjar, 17 years old, of Breezedale Lane in Germantown, and Artem S. Ziberov, 18 years old, of Flag Harbor Drive in Germantown.
According to police, on Monday, June 5 at approximately 10:46 pm, the Emergency Communications Center (911) received a call from a resident reporting the sounds of shots fired in the 8200 block of Gallery Court. 6th District officers responded to the area and located the two victims inside of a light blue Honda that was parked in the street on Gallery Court. Both victims appeared to be suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Both victims were seniors at Northwest High School and set to graduate later this afternoon with the Class of 2017 at Constitution Hall in Washington D.C.
This is an ongoing investigation. Police said detectives have worked through the night on this case and continue to investigate these murders.
