Flood Warning for Germantown Area




The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Germantown and all of Montgomery County until noon.

The warning stated, “At 8:52 am, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause flooding. In some areas, this rain is totalling close to two inches in an hour, and flash flood warnings may be required for a portion of the metro area this morning.”

Montgomery County locations that will experience flooding include Germantown, Rockville, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Olney, and Damascus.
