Rep. Delaney to Host College, Trade School & Financial Aid Workshop at Northwest

Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) will host a College, Trade School and Financial Aid Workshops on Wednesday, May 10 at Northwest High School in Germantown. The workshop will feature representatives from over sixty colleges and universities, trade schools and financial aid organizations. The workshop will include presentations and the opportunity for students, parents and educators to speak one-on-one with representatives.

   The event is free to attend and open to the public. It will run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will be the 30th constituent services workshops Congressman Delaney has hosted since 2015.

   Marylanders interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by calling 301-733-2900.

   “In today’s globally-connected, high-skill, high-tech economy, education is more important than ever before,” said Congressman Delaney. “Education changed my life and I want the next generation to have the same opportunities I had. Our goal is to connect local students and parents with as much information as possible so they can find the best program that fits their needs.”
