Four People Shot, One Killed in Germantown Townhouse



One adult male is dead, and three other victims — one male and two female — are suffering from non-life threatening injuries after a shooting at in a Germantown townhouse, according to Montgomery County Police.

On Saturday, April 29 at approximately 12:55 am, the Emergency Communications Center (911) received multiple calls for a shooting that had just occurred inside of a residence at 12839 Kitchen House Way. Officers from the 5th District along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded and located two adult male victims and two adult female victims at the home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One male victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The three remaining victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.


Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service senior spokesman Pete Piringer reported on Twitter that MCFRS EMS transported five patients to local hospitals, four with gunshot wounds, and one injured from a fall.

According to EMS radio transmissions, the victim with the most serious gunshot wounds was transported in dire condition suffering cardiac arrest and not breathing after being wounded by a gunshot. While three other victims, a male, and two females were transported with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.


Montgomery County Police are investigating details of the shooting and what happened in the townhouse, which left at least three people with gunshot wounds. Detectives urge anyone who may have information to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).
