UPDATE: Four Shot, One Dead After Shooting in Germantown Townhouse

UPDATE, 3:41 AM: Montgomery County Police have confirmed that one adult male victim has died. MCPD is conducting a homicide investigation after a shooting at 12839 Kitchen House Way in Germantown.

 Montgomery County Fire Rescue Services are reporting that four people have been transported from a Germantown townhouse with gunshot wounds.

   Police and EMS units responded to the unit at 12839 Kitchen House Way in Germantown after shots rang out at that address shortly before 1:00 am on Saturday morning April 29.

 According to MCPD Lieutenant Jim Brown, detectives are investigating the incident in which at least three people, two males, and one female victim have been injured by some sort of blunt force trauma.

   Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service senior spokesman Pete Piringer reported on Twitter that MCFRS EMS transported five patients to local hospitals, four with gunshot wounds, and one injured from a fall.

   According to EMS radio transmissions, at least one of the male gunshot victims was transported in dire condition suffering cardiac arrest and not breathing after being wounded by a gunshot. While two other victims, a male, and a female were transported with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The status of the fourth victim has not been confirmed.

   Montgomery County Police are investigating details of the shooting and what happened in the townhouse, which left at least three people with gunshot wounds. Germantown Pulse will have an update as soon as more information becomes available.
