Kites Over Clarksburg Returns this Weekend

The Ninth Annual "Kites Over Clarksburg" day sponsored by The Clarksburg Foundation in conjunction with the Montgomery County Department of Parks will be held this Saturday March 25th, 2017 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Ovid Hazen Wells Park on Skylark Road, in Clarksburg. This event is free of charge to participants.

  There will be kite flying, craft activities for non-kite-flying children, games, activities, and a raffle. Participants will receive one raffle ticket for each canned food or pair of eyeglasses donated to charity. Donations of canned goods will benefit local Food Banks and used eyeglasses are being collected for the Clarksburg Lions Club. Businesses and organizations serving Clarksburg will be participating as exhibitors throughout the day. 

  Fly a kite. Bring your own kite or purchase a kite at the event. No glass kite strings. Bring a picnic or box lunch. Toast marshmallows with the Little Bennett Camp Staff.
