MoCo Rec is Hiring for Positions at South Germantown Park

The Montgomery County Recreation department is looking for individuals to fill positions at the South Germantown Park golf driving range facility. The specific positions needing filling are Archery Instructor and Driving Range Attendant/Cashier.

   The Archery Instructor position starts at $11.25 per hour and will be responsible for developing lesson plans and programs in teaching participants about the sport of archery through an interactive and enjoyable experience. Must be able to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. Instructs participants about range safety, steps in shooting and equipment upkeep and repair.  Responsible for range setup and clean up prior to and after each class. Must show proof of certification earned through USA Archery. Weekend and evening work is mandatory. Minimum age: 18.

   The Driving Range Attendant/Cashier will pay between $10.75 and $13.60 per hour and will be responsible for performing routine tasks including cleaning and maintenance. Cashiers are responsible for the collection of admission and course registration fees and serve as the facility's first point-of-contact for customer questions and/or concerns, as well as, basic computer functions (i.e. use of a mouse and data entry capabilities), have a pleasant demeanor, and also be knowledgeable of facility programs, fees, and policies.  Cash handling experience preferred. Weekend and Evening work is mandatory. Minimum age: 16.
