Crash Sends One Woman to Hospital

February 3, 2017

One woman was transported to a local hospital after a collision resulted in the Jeep she was driving ending up on its side.

The crash happened shortly before 10:00 am on Friday, Feb. 3 at the intersection of Waterford Hills Boulevard and Vaughn Landing Drive in Germantown.

Two vehicles, a black Jeep, and a white work van collided sending the Jeep tumbling on its side and injuring the driver. The driver was able to get out of the Jeep by herself but was evaluated and transported by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

Waterford Hills Boulevard was closed to traffic in one direction for some time Friday morning as MCFRS evaluated the injuries and awaited a tow truck to remove the Jeep which ended on its side across the roadway.
