Germantown Man Charged with Armed Robbery in Pennsylvania

January 25, 2017

A 29-year-old Germantown man has been charged in connection with a armed robbery in Lebanon County, Pa.

According to a report in the Lebanon Daily News, Troy A. Jordan, of Germantown, was arranged on December 12 before Lebanon County District Judge Kim Wolfe on charges of robbery, theft, simple assault and committed to the Lebanon County prison on $250,000 bail. The charges are related to a holdup at Turkey Hill in Annville Township.

Also charged in the robbery was Marty Cooper, 24, Palmyra, Pa. On Tuesday, Cooper pleaded guilty to charges of robbery, theft, simple assault, conspiracy, unsworn falsification, and driving with a suspended license in Lebanon District Court, the news report said.

According to court records, Cooper drove Jordan to the store and Jordan committed the robbery. Prosecutors say that Jordan entered the store, wearing a skeleton mask at about 2:00 am on April 12, 2016, and demanded money at gunpoint. He took $100 from the cash register and 30 packs of cigarettes worth $200, according to court records. Jordan also forced the store clerk into the restroom at gunpoint before leaving.

Jordan’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 2 before District Judge John Ditzler in Lebanon District Court, according to reports.
