Germantown Pulse Continues to Rise, Showing Amazing Growth in 2016

2016 was an another amazing year for Germantown Pulse as more and more friends and neighbors discover that they can get their local news and sports information from the only news source devoted specifically to Germantown and the UpCounty area of Montgomery County.

   Germantown Pulse continued to grow in readership in 2016. Our pageviews totaled 773,279 which was up by 464,971 or 150.8 percent from the 308,308 in 2015.

   The weekly average for pageviews was 14,794 in 2016, compared to 5,261 in 2015.

   We also averaged 33,374 unique visitors each month in 2016, compared 13,869 in 2015.

   Last year we posted 652 articles. We published more than 3,000 local photos.

   Germantown Pulse went live on August 1, 2014. We had 19,422 pageviews for six months in 2014.

   We ended 2016 with 4,915 Facebook friends, and 2,379 Twitter followers.

   In 2016, Germantown Pulse reached 292,113 unique readers in the UpCounty Montgomery County Area, an increase of 125 percent over 2015. We serve Germantown, Boyds, Clarksburg, Poolesville and Damascus for news, and we cover Seneca Valley, Northwest, and Clarksburg high schools for sports.
