Stingers Girls Lacrosse Spring Registration is Open

Stingers Lacrosse is a premier recreational and select level girl’s lacrosse program located in upcounty /Germantown-Clarksburg area has announced that its spring registration is open for girls from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

   Stingers Lacrosse is open to all levels of players from anywhere in the region. The organization’s focus and all of its resources are directed toward the girl's game; Stingers Lacrosse provides a fair, fun and competitive learning environment.

   Stingers Lacrosse offers experienced coaches who are trained or certified by US Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse.  “Our coaches have a connection and commitment to youth girl’s athletics and lacrosse,” said John Pino, a coach with the Stingers program. “Our coaches are made up of parents, former players and community-minded individuals who take their coaching responsibilities seriously. The majority of our coaches have daughters who play or have played the game at every level; recreational, club, high school and college.”

   The number of players per team will be limited to maximize playtime and practice participation. Please register early to avoid a wait list. Anyone interested in registering should visit the Stingers Lacrosse website.

   Stingers Lacrosse participates in the Metro Girls Lacrosse League (MGLL).  The league includes teams from several Maryland and Virginia counties. All games are played on a single neutral field on Sundays in March through May. All fields are located in Montgomery County. Game times and field location depends on age group and division.
