Modell's Store Robbed by Masked, Armed Man

September 29, 2016

The Modell's Sporting Goods store in the Milestone Shopping Center was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man Tuesday night.

Montgomery County Police confirm that sometime between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 27, a 5-foot, 7-inch black male wearing a ski mask walked into the Modells Store at 20900 Frederick Road in Germantown, brandished a handgun and ordered the employees to the ground. He then proceeded to steal cash from the register.

No one was injured during the robbery, and the masked man fled the store after he obtained the cash. MCPD has no suspects and asks anyone with information about this case to call police at 240-773-5080 or Crime Solvers at 240-773-8477.
