Three stand-up comics will be performing at the show, Rob Maher, Tok Moffat and Daylon Morrison. Rob Maher is a regional winner of Comedy Central’s Up Next Competition. He is a favorite performer at the DC Improv and at Funny Bone’s and can be seen this fall on Kevin Hart’s Comedy Central show, Hart of the City. Maher also has performed overseas for our troops in 17 countries including Afghanistan, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Italy and Egypt.
Tok Moffat is originally from South Africa but grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Moffat uses his comedic style of being witty, introspective and relatable to his experiences growing up as the “weird” foreign kid, and sounding like Carlton Banks among other challenges with fitting in to stand-up. Moffat is a regular at the DC Improv and Magooby's Joke House, and runs a weekly comedy showcase featuring local and national acts.
Daylon Morrison, of Crofton Maryland, is a sign language interpreter by day and stand-up comedian by night. Morrison brings a unique perspective and expressive energy to the stage. He has been molding his comedic style for five years and has opened for Robert Kelly, Darrell Hammond, Tom Green, and Jon Lovitz.
