Additional Metrorail Stations in Rockville Closed This Weekend

This weekend, August 12-14, 2016, the Shady Grove, Rockville, Twinbrook, and White Flint stations will be closed. Buses will replace trains between Shady Grove and Grosvenor from 7 AM Saturday through closing on Sunday.

    Single tracking will also occur between Forest Glen & Glenmont. Red Line trains will operate every 8-15 minutes.

   Free shuttle buses will operate on two routes:

   A local route will run between Shady Grove and Grosvenor will make intermediate stops at Rockville, Twinbrook and White Flint. Riders have been asked to allow 15 minutes of travel time for each station stop.

   An express route will operate between Shady Grove and Grosvenor with no intermediate stops. Riders have been told to allow up to 25 minutes of travel time for this portion of the trip.

   Check Metro service advisories for additional updates before leaving for any rail trip.
