Clopper Road Crash Leaves Five Hurt



Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue units were called to a collision at Clopper Road and Great Seneca Highway on Friday night which injured all five people, two adults and three children, in the vehicles.


MCFRS senior spokesman Pete Piringer said the collision happened shortly after 9:00 pm on Friday night, June 24 at the intersection of Clopper Road and Great Seneca Highway in Germantown.

MCFRS transported two adults and three children to area hospitals. One of the adults and two of the children have serious injuries and were transported as Priority 2 patients. The intersection of Clopper Road and Great Seneca Highway was closed for a time while MCFRS worked to extricate a trapped person and evaluate all five patients.
